Spots Are Limited - Become a Nitzavim Fellow Today!

Schedule:
Applications Due: Sept. 29
Fellowship Begins: November 3

Gain the skills and confidence to make a meaningful contribution to the Jewish community.

As a gap year student in Israel, we know your time is precious. The Nitzavim Fellowship consists of twelve combined in person classes at Hebrew University and virtual classes online featuring some of the greatest educators in Israel.

Through implantation of entrepreneurial tools and mindset, you will gain the knowledge needed to design and implement projects that create meaningful impact, connection and understanding on your college campus while at the same time exploring issues that you will face, such as diverse expressions of Jewish identity, anti-Semitism, and Israel. These are the life skill you need to be an impactful leader on campus and in your community.

What Our Students Say

Growing up in a small town I was really exposed to people outside of the Orthodox Jewish community and it really opened my eyes up to how much education is really needed. The skills that are needed to educate people are few and far in between and I feel like it could be extremely beneficial to me in the long term, throughout college and into the regular world.

I feel like joining the Nitzavin Fellowship will enhance my gap year tremendously. I am looking forward to making the most of this year and feel like participating in this fellowship really will help me do so. I am passionate about standing up for what I believe in but unfortunately, don’t feel like I am familiar or educated enough about crucial things that I should be. As I am going to a secular college, I want to be prepared and educated in Israel advocacy, something I know the Nitzavim fellowship really values. I also would love to learn more about how to engage Jews of different levels of observance on campus and learn about what I can do as a part of a Jewish community in a secular environment.
