Judges
Student groups work with alumni and business mentors to outline a business portfolio which they presented to judges at the Annual Project Showcase. Winners receive funding to implement their projects once on college campus!
Beatie Deutsch
Beatie Deutsch is the Israeli national champion in the marathon and half marathon. As a mother of five young children, she has learned to apply her training to the real marathon of life. Beatie took up running just four years ago and recently went pro with the goal of qualifying for Tokyo 2020 and representing Israel in the Olympics. More than anything else, her journey has empowered her to dream big and keep pushing, a message Beatie is passionate about sharing with other women.
Yishai Fraenkel
Mr. Yishai Fraenkel is the fifteenth Vice President and Director General of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. During his term in office, he has led the University’s HUJITECH project, an employment and high-tech park currently under construction on the Edmund J. Safra Campus; led the establishment of the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (ASPER-HUJI Innovate); and overseen an upgrading of the University’s information systems. He also lectures in the University’s Schools of Business and Education.
